During the first 2 weeks of October 2006, at Cervia AFB in Italy there was a Squadron Exchange with the visit of 3 MIG-29 from Hungary based at Kecskemet.
The resident F-16A ADF of the 23rd Squadron flew several missions together with the Hungarian Mig-29s and often there were visits by other Italian Air Force aircrafts to make joint flights.
On 4th October we were there and we could see, as well as F-16s and Mig-29s, some AMX from 32° Stormo based at Amendola and an MB-339 PAN of the Frecce Tricolori acrobatic team.
