TLP 2025-4 - albacete

TLP FC 2025-4 flying course was held at Albacete Los Llanos Air Base  from 6th to 28th November 2025.

It was  the last TLP flying course of the year and it offered a wide range of aircraft from six NATO allied countries taking part (Germany, France, Italy and Spain, as TLP member countries, and Romania and Turkey as guest nations). On the Spanish side, in addition to the Eurofighter aircraft of the EA’s 14th Wing, the course saw the participation of AV-8 Harrier aircraft from the Navy’s 9th Squadron.

Following this flying course, the overall assessment of TLP, 2025 has been very positive in several respects. In addition to continuing to be a benchmark in Europe for advanced combat aircrew training, the Programme has evolved significantly in the process of integrating 4th and 5th generation aircraft at the tactical level and in the development of synthetic capabilities (LVC) adapted to training, both at the academic and flight course levels.n 2025, training sessions in Aircraft Cross Service (ACS) were carried out at TLP as an additional activity, taking advantage of the presence of maintenance personnel from different countries in the flying courses. In this sense, the interoperability of air assets is not limited to the technical plan, but requires integration at the doctrinal level, logistical adaptation, and a common operational culture.

Finally, TLP keeps on strengthening its position as the main European lab for tactical integration among allies and partners, while its operational value keeps on growing in a geopolitical security context that demands maximum readiness and flexible response capabilities.
