04-07-2025 - MINI TIGER MEET a NEUBURG (ETSN) and new jg-74 "castle tiger"

On July 4th, the Bavarian Tigers hosted a Mini Tiger Meet in Neuburg Air Base (ETSN). The event included a family day, a spotters’ event, and the Tiger Reunion, which is typically scheduled to coincide with Neuburg’s medieval festival over the weekend. 

The German Air Force also was there with Eurofighter display pilot “Noble ” showcasing his skills. in the brand new Castle-Tiger special painted aircraft.

 In addition, Eurofighters from the wing carried out several flybys alongside an A-4 Skyhawk from Top Aces, a company contracted by the Bundeswehr to provide target simulation services for both the Air Force and the Navy.

Obviously the star of the day was the beautiful Castle-Tiger aircraft, an anticipation of the autumn Nato Tiger Meet special painted airframes. The Nato Tiger Meet exercise this year will take place at Beja in Portugal.
