On may 2006 in  Germany took place a big exercise called ELITE. Several German air bases were involved in this exercise and we were given the chance to visit Lechfeld Air Base, in the South of Germany, on 11 may  2006.

We were able to see, in a perfect sunny weather,  the aircrafts taking-off and landing for the daily mission.

Nel mese di maggio 2006 si è svolta in Germania una grande esercitazione, chiamata ELITE, che ha coinvolto numerose basi aeree tedesche. L’11 maggio 2006 abbiamo avuto la possibilità di assistere, in una splendida giornata di sole,  ai decolli ed agli atterraggi degli aerei schierati nella base di Lechfeld, nel sud della Germania per la missione giornaliera.
